
On March 30, 2025, Salman Khan made it to the theatres with his much-awaited release, Sikandar.’ Starring Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, the movie opened with lukewarm numbers and mixed reactions. On the one hand, where the movie’s storyline couldn’t do justice to the viewers’ expectations, the online leak of the film in HD print just a few hours ahead of the premiere impacted the collection. The Eid treat to Salman Khan’s fans witnessed a major dip after the festival. With a drop of more than 30 percent, the film on its 3rd day, i.e., Tuesday, minted only Rs. 19.5 crore in India.

Sikandar Day 3 Collection in India
According to the Sacnilk report, the AR Murugadoss movie debuted at the box office with Rs. 26 crore across all languages in India. Thereafter, on Monday, which was Eid, the movie was expected to see a major boost. However, nothing as such happened, as the movie only saw a slight growth of 11.54 percent and collected only Rs. 29 crore. And now, with a dip of 32.76 percent, the movie on day 3 made around Rs. 19.5 crore, bringing the total of ‘Sikandar’ after three days to Rs 74.5 crore in India across all languages.
Sikandar Day 3 occupancy
On day 3, ‘Sikandar’ saw an overall occupancy rate of 19.42 percent in Hindi, as compared to the 24.60 percent footfall on day 2 in Hindi. The morning shows had the lowest occupancy rate – 6.87 percent but it picked up pace in the afternoon shows with 18.91 percent. In the evening, the shows had the highest occupancy of 25.99 percent and the night shows followed closely behind with the rate of 25.89 percent.
‘Sikandar’ failed to beat ‘Chhaava’
With the release of ‘Sikandar,’ everyone thought that the Bollywood box office would get a new highest opener of 2025. However, the Salman Khan starrer couldn’t outperform the collection of Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava.’ The historical drama made on the Maratha warrior and king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj opened with Rs. 31 crore domestically and Rs. 54 crore worldwide.
