Who we are
List My Product is operated by Firmhound LLC, a Delaware limited liability company managed by Harris Holding Company LLC. We provide a directory submission service that submits your product to 50+ startup and software directories. Our contact email is [email protected].
Information we collect
When you use List My Product, we collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Product information: your product name, URL, tagline, description, category, and any screenshots you provide for your blast order.
- Payment information: billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe handles payment processing and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Communication data: emails you send to our support team and notifications we send to you.
- Usage data: basic page view events, blast order status, and delivery logs. We use this data to operate the service and improve our directory list.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your blast order (submit your product to directories).
- Send you your submission report and order confirmation by email.
- Respond to support requests and inquiries.
- Maintain and improve the service, including updating our directory list.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your product information for any purpose other than fulfilling your order and improving our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
We share information with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the service:
- Stripe: payment processing. Your billing information is transmitted directly to Stripe and governed by their privacy policy.
- Resend: transactional email delivery (order confirmations, submission reports). Email content may pass through Resend's servers.
- Cloudflare: DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may log IP addresses for security purposes.
Directory submissions
When we submit your product to third-party directories, we provide each directory with the product information you supplied in your intake form. Each directory has its own privacy policy governing how they handle submissions. We are not responsible for the data practices of directories we submit to.
Note: Your product information (name, description, URL, category) will be published publicly on any directory that approves your listing. This is the nature of the service. Do not include private or sensitive information in your product description.
Data retention
We retain your account information and blast order records for as long as your account is active, plus a minimum of 90 days following account deletion to support dispute resolution. Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations. Submission logs are retained for 90 days then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to certain processing of your information.

Cookies and tracking
We use a minimal session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising trackers, cross-site tracking pixels, or analytics services that share data with ad networks. We log basic page view events in our own database solely for service improvement.
Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct periodic reviews of our security posture.
Children
List My Product is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
